As in previous years, the contests starts with nominations and then voting begins in specific categories covering all facets of the diecast hobby. In addition to celebrating the year of models, there are member awards as well.

Another great aspect of the Collector’s Desktop Inventory Software is the ability to record and create multiple collections on one application. I also create action figures, so I was able to create a collection for action figures and diecast models - as well as a collection for my DVD’s and baseball jerseys. Yes, I took advantage of the versatility.

As this is a virtual product, there is no physical product which is great as it saves on shipping and handling charges. Downloading of the product took approximately one minute and installed effortlessly.

The actual inventorying of my collections took longer than expected as I kept going back to look at the summary reports. When I look at how much I have spent in the hobby of diecast model collecting, I get cold chills down my back.

I have been in constant contact with the Editor of The Diecast Magazine - North America and I don’t have the words to describe the excitement that is buzzing through their New York office.
